<p><em><strong>5,000 ton Ocean Going Deck Barge For Sale</strong></em>. Ex: ABS classed barge. In dec 2024 this barge just exited the shipyard/dry dock where she went through maintenance &amp; repairs. The entire barge was blasted and painted, excluding the deck. Wooden fenders and metal brackets were all removed / cutoff. Entire barge was audio gauged. Any metal that was thin or needing replaced...was replaced. Several hundred thousand dollars were spent in this dry docking for metal inserts, blasting, painting, new anodes, new emergency wire, etc.&nbsp;</p>
<p>ABS expired 2019' Good internals. Has towing skegs. Interior of barge coated.The hull is divided by six (6) transverse and three (3) longitudinal bulkheads forming four (4) bow rake. Compartments, twenty (20) main body compartments, and four (4) stern rake compartments. All bulkheads were designed watertight except the longitudinal centerline bulkhead in way of the bow rake compartments.Internals are coated with Compound H (grease type coating).All hatch rings, hatch covers and hardware in good condition.&nbsp; NOTE: barge hauled out in 2024 for Bottom and Side shells to be blasted, painted, new annodes, misc repair work completed.&nbsp;</p>
